Was so excited to go to Mosswood Meltdown this year and witness John Waters' presence IN PERSON. + I Got to see Le Tigre finally and thee JD Samson!

who can forget their iconique 2003 calendar!? (I never could 🔥)

Not gonna lie I was pretty wiped from my friend hurricane Gerrí coming in for Pride and I was really grumpy to leave my hobbit hole. Am so glad I did! I got there just in time after my MTG sesh to catch The 5678s.

:( they didnt play my favorite song, but thats ok it was a super cute set. Love those gals.

So many great bands played, including Twompsax, where my friend was recording directly across from me from backstage!

Mosswood had a cool pee wee set up that I thought was so good I had to take a snap of it between sets because I loved it so much.

i guess someone stole this from the stage :( people need to fkn behave

I had a really good time yesterday seeing pansy division and the B-52s and hanging out with my friend in the grass and I’m excited to see big freedia today and the mummies and to hang out in the grass some more but if I’m being fully honest I do not think I will be doing a music festival ever again. And this (john waters’s mosswood meltdown) isn’t even really a real music festival I think I would die if I went to a real one

A little over two weeks until I see Bikini Kill again! They broke up like right after I discovered them when I was 14. I saw them at Mosswood Meltdown in 2022 and didn’t think I’d ever see them again.

Also the last band I saw live was Le Tigre (at Mosswood Meltdown again, fucking love that festival) and now I’m going to see Bikini Kill so it’s kinda funny.

I honestly never thought I would see one of my most favorite bands live until Mosswood Meltdown announced Bratmobile was playing. Allison Wolfe is a legend and inspiration on so many levels.

She is one of the influences that ultimately started Riot Grrrl, and she is extremely flexible. Whoa!!!
